Welcome to Inqry AI ("we," "us," with "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our application (the "Service").

We are a company based in the European Union (EU) and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Service, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the Service, or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal Data

  • Identity Data: Name, username.
  • Contact Data: Email address.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our website and services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for legitimate business purposes, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.

  • To provide and maintain our Service.
  • To manage your account.
  • To improve our services (analytics).
  • To communicate with you (updates, security alerts).

4. Subprocessors and Third Parties

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ("Subprocessors") who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. Please refer to our Subprocessors List for details.

5. International Data Transfers

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data (specifically for AI inference), to the United States and process it there.

Legal Basis for Transfers:

  • EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF): For providers certified under the DPF (e.g., Vercel).
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): For US-based AI providers where DPF is not applicable (e.g., OpenRouter), we rely on their Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal transfer mechanism to ensure your data remains protected.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • Right to Erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • Right to Object to Processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
  • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.
